Can you believe it? I'm back again! That's 2 days in a row! I decided that I would have a reasonable goal of blogging once a week and if I can do it more often than that--I will give myself a pat on the back! :)

Last night Kenny took me to Target and I got to scooter around the store on one of those old lady motor scooters. :) I'm still gaining my strength back from being sick and hospitalized.  Anyways, I was able to get 5 Christmas presents for $50. Because of finances this year, I can only spend $10 a person--and that is for immediate family.  I'm going to have to get really creative this year if I want to give gifts to friends and extended family.  It's hard for me because my main love language is gifts--receiving gifts and giving gifts.  I know it stresses many people out to get Christmas presents for family and friends--but I actually really enjoy it!

I was reflecting this afternoon and how fast December came this year.  We have been through so much and God has been with us through it all.  He has blessed us with such wonderful friends, family, and an amazing church!  Even though this year was super tough financially, physically, and emotionally--we have grown so much and have learned to trust God even more!  Even the kids--as young as they are--have witnessed God's amazing provisions and blessings!

Because I don't have any more recent pictures, I thought it would be fun to do a 'blast from the past' as one of my high school English teaches used to say. :)  Here are some pictures of our family from last year--December 2009.  My we have changed!

My baby girl eating a candy cane last Christmas 2009.  Look at those cute cheeks!

My big boy modeling his new robe from Mommy and Daddy in 2009.

This is one of my favorite pictures of my kiddos.  It really expresses their relationship with each other.  Chloe loves her brother so much and always wants to be with him.  Caleb loves Chloe very much but can also be quite a tease.  Last year Chloe was all about baby dolls and baby bottles.  This year, she just likes to pretend with her brother.  The one thing that Chloe really likes to pretend with is little hand-held animals--but there has to be a mommy and a baby.  Caleb is really enjoying puzzles and he likes playing 'little legos' with Daddy.  He amazes me how he puts things together--I am so bad at that sort of thing.  I think he gets that from Kenny--because I am good at copying things but I am horrible at just creating something on a whim.

Last but not least, here is a picture of Kenny and I.  We are closer this year than we were last year and I am more in love with my man than I ever have been!

Hello again!  I'm starting a new resolution before New Year's--I'm ahead of schedule!  Deep down, I miss blogging.  As I get older, I find that I'm actually pretty artistic--I'm just picky in how I express myself artistically. :)

I really like fashion and shopping.  I enjoy looking at fashion magazines and finding new ways to put old clothes in my closet together to form a new outfit.  Sometimes shopping at Value Village and Goodwill help me put finishing touches to a new look.  So I will try to post pictures of new, fun looks I put together.

I also enjoy doing hair--other people's hair---NOT my own!!  But I don't like to cut hair, I only like to color hair or try fun styles--like braiding or up-dos.  I really like to fix Chloe's hair and it is so amazing to me how she just sits still and let's me fix her hair all pretty.  I will have to start posting some pictures of Chloe's hairstyles as I try new things.

The other thing I have enjoyed doing lately is putting photo projects together.  I love photos!  I like looking at pictures of our family and I really enjoy looking at all my friend's photos.  I think that is my favorite part about Facebook is looking at all the photos.  I suppose my Grandpa was a big part of my love of looking at pictures.  When we would go to his house he would get out his big screen and his slides and we would have Family Photo Night where we would look at new pictures and old pictures that he had taken.  It always made me so happy to look at all the pictures and remember all the good times together!

So I will just end by posting a few pictures of October.  I'm afraid I don't have any pictures from November.  I was sick the whole month of November and had to be admitted to the hospital the night before Thanksgiving. :(  Praying that I'm on my way to full recovery.  Here's to many new pictures in December! :)

Here's a recent shot of my kiddos!  This was taken at a park in Downtown Bellevue!

Another highlight of October was getting to see my cousin, Lauren!  She was in town for a friend's wedding, but I got to take her to the airport!  I love her so much!

Chloe, the pretty princess and Caleb, the race car driver all dressed up for the party at Daddy's work!  For those of you who don't know, Kenny left Microsoft this year and is now working at Expedia in downtown Bellevue.  The party was quite impressive!

I put together a last minute costume for Kenny's party--I was a cat--Carie the cat!

We were invited to a costume party at the end of October and here are some pictures of all of us in our costumes!

Chloe dressed up as a princess again.  If you look behind her you can see my beautiful kitchen in our new apartment in downtown Bellevue.

Caleb looking tough in his race car costume!  If you look behind him you can see the breakfast bar and my new stools.  I got such a deal on those stools!  Buy one, get one free at Fred Meyer!

Kenny dressed up as a pirate!  Doesn't he look good?  I was able to put his whole outfit together between both of our closets (only had to buy the pirate hat). :)  This is a good shot of our new apartment in the background.  We love it---so spacious!

Yes--I was a pirate too--but I think Kenny looks much better!  I even did his make-up!

Last but not least a picture of me and my man!  I love him so much!
